Overview

The Tanzania Federation of Crafts & Arts (TAFCA) is an umbrella organization established in 2010 by a vari­ety of art and crafts associations, networks and other such institutions to serve their common interests in the areas of artistic development, art business and general improvement of their income and social welfare. It was registered by the National Arts Council (BASATA) vide Registration Certificate No. BST/4616 of 1 February 2011.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and support artists in arts and crafts by providing them with opportunities for growth, collaboration, and professional development. We aim to foster a vibrant and sustainable artistic community that contributes to the cultural enrichment, economic prosperity, and social well-being of Tanzania. Through advocacy, education, and networking initiatives, we strive to promote the value of artistic expression, preserve cultural heritage, and create avenues for artists to thrive in a dynamic and inclusive creative environment..
